Scenario

Two Irish orphans travel across America by train, meeting villains and heroes

They find an unlikely friend and search for a new home, facing adventure and danger along the way. The main character “Nick” is based on the director’s son Nico, who had the same disease.

I love this movie!

The movie is dedicated to him because he died in 2021. It’s great to see a disabled child represented, which resonated deeply with me as I work with disabled children.

My 5 year old loved it too

The plot isn’t very deep, but it’s one of my favorite animations in a while – honest and funny. Some of the scenes, like the ones with the wolves and the guns, were a little scary for my daughter, but not too much.

One of the best animations I’ve seen in a while

Loved the characters, especially Sparky the dog who was an adorable addition. An emotional, inclusive story that made me cry in the best sense of the word.

I agree with another comment, far better than any Disney movie I have watched recently
